RE: bear root tree roots

Well, hard to say exactly, John. But certainly, I would say after the first growing season, your bare root fruit tree should have a substantial amount of root growth. Bare root fruit trees, if planted correctly, and cared for properly, will produce new roots very fast, they establish very well. Probably better than potted trees. Just be sure to water appropriately, as well as fertilize appropriately with the correct fertilizer and at the appropriate times for your area.
