| Raintree Nursery had a give-a-way last winter. If you bought X dollars of trees they would send you three (3) of a new raspberry they are trying out called 'Ukee'. Well, UKEE is YUCKY! My first year Carolines were magnificent and grew pounds of berries. The freebie'Ukee' was very late and by the time it fruited it was late Sept. The leaves and berries were covered in yellow-orange dust. Never saw that before. The berriews were tough and mealy. Needless to say I orded five new 'Carolines' to put in this year and the 'Yucky's are coming out asap. Beware of 'trial' freebies. Mrs. G |
