| Next week I have 200 apple and peach trees arriving, about half and half. I already have a layout with proper spacing for the orchard area. My question is should I group all the apple trees together and then all the peach trees together, or should I mix them in with each other with the thought process of maybe if the same type of tree isn't right next to each other then it would be harder for diseases to "jump" from one tree to the next???? In that same thought process, I have at least a handful of different varieties of apples and also of peaches, should I group those together, or mix them up. Any thoughts, ideas and/or experiences are much appreciated! :) |

| I would plant all the apples together, for pollination. If you need to do any spraying its better if they are together. |
