I would to grow my own pistachios. My backyard isn't big enough for me to plant the trees in ground. I know I need 2 trees a male and a female. My question is. "Is it possible to plant the two trees in one pot?" I believe as long I provide them the appropriate amount of light and nutrients they should be fine. May not produce but would grow fine. And yes I'm looking for them to produce nuts. I also know it isn't optimal growing conditions and most likely isn't recommended. But I like to try and do things outside the box.

I'm curious if anyone has tried this and if they able to produce.
