Pistachio Tree Expriment

I would to grow my own pistachios. My backyard isn't big enough for me to plant the trees in ground. I know I need 2 trees a male and a female. My question is. "Is it possible to plant the two trees in one pot?" I believe as long I provide them the appropriate amount of light and nutrients they should be fine. May not produce but would grow fine. And yes I'm looking for them to produce nuts. I also know it isn't optimal growing conditions and most likely isn't recommended. But I like to try and do things outside the box.

I'm curious if anyone has tried this and if they able to produce.

Thanks for taking the time to read my post,

RE: Pistachio Tree Expriment

Last year a nursery local to me had pistachio trees with a "male" limb grafted onto a female tree (with three female limbs).
