I was really concerned that we would have a far warmer winter this year than last year, which was fairly mild. Our chill hours are finally amounting to the right numbers. February and March are always the two of the worst months in New England. The snow is beautiful though. My trees finally have a good foot of snow and all seem fine. We've had a lot of freezing rain, however, that is under control as the temps during the day to go above freezing. I hope our spring is mild with no late frost surprises. I'd like to know how Olpea's peach trials are doing too. Mrs. G
