I am starting some quince cuttings today, I have 4 sticks of each cultivar. I am planning on putting 2 of those (1 IBA dipped 1 not) in damp sawdust in the root cellar for a month or so to callus. 1 i am planning on rooting indoors in 50/50 perlite/vermiculite and 1 i am planning on rooting in aerated water at room temperature.

Here are my questions for the group.
1. What concentration of IBA powder should i dip quince cuttings in, if at all.
2. Should the indoor group be IBA dipped?
3. Should the aerated water group get hormones? I have 99% IBA, Benzylaminopurine, Indole-3-Acetic Acid and 1-Naphthaleneacetic acid. But i haven't the faintest idea wha tconcentration / mix would be a good place to start for hydroponic rooting.

Any advice would be welcome as i have never rooted this species before.
