| Hello, I've got a bare root Hosui that is planted in a spot that won't get a lot of sun due to being next to several other fruit trees : ) It hasn't leafed out yet and I'm thinking of moving it before it does. I don't really have any space in ground that gets good sunlight. I have a large wooden planter that is 2 feet by 4 feet and about 3 feet deep that gets lots of sun. Would the Hosui do okay in planter this size, especially if I cut the whip down to 15-18"? I've tried looking up info on growing Asian pears in containers but haven't found anything. Thanks for the advice and input. As always, it is very much appreciated. |

| I would use an old garbage can. Depth is important. |
