OK - Bought my fruit!

Well , I'll make my first venture into Strawberries this season. I just bought from nourse so thanks to all who turned me on to this company. I opted for Cabot and Monterey. Just seemed to have the right combination of size, firmness (or in my case not too firm) and taste. Wish me luck and THANK YOU for all the opinions!

RE: OK - Bought my fruit!

I bet you do better than I have in the past.

I have tried twice to grow strawberries down here in South Georgia and have failed both times but with my home Orchard, I have a good arsenal of chemicals to help fight the disease problems so i think I will try again.

I looked up Nourse but they don't sell plants for the fall. I think bad plants have been half my problem.

Here is a link that might be useful: Georgia Home Orchard
