New tree not budding, how long should I wait?

I planted some new fruit trees in January, bare root season came early this year, and all of them are showing signs of growth except for the Indian Free Peach. I pruned all of the trees severely after planting because I plan on espaliering them, but everything else is coping fine and pushing plenty of buds and leaves. How long should I wait for growth before I give up and plant another tree?

Is the trunk and limbs still green? I have an Anna Apple in that same boat. It's trunk is green. I just walked down the slope and checked and I see several little pink buds starting. I bet yours is alive too. Maybe the weather just needs to warm up a little.

There is a little bit of green at the base of each stub where a limb used to be, I was going to wait until it was all gone before making any drastic decisions. It's just a bit worrisome when one tree is so far behind the others, I wonder if Indian Free Peach is typically late to bud and leaf?

If it is, some year when there is a late chill it might be your only producer.

Worth waiting to see.
