Brown tips on new Macadamia

We purchased an air layer from Ebay and arranged for pick-up. The tree is in a 5 gallon container and some of the leaf tips are brown. The soil is damp. Many of the leaves are still green.

We got it to plant in-ground and intend to purchase another for pollination.
