My experience with both Robada and Orangered is that they take a lot of chilling. You'll have enough for you and me both.

Both set very well on the blossoms that do open here in a dry climate. They are probably at least partially self fertile.

But the reason for Puget Gold popularity is that many apricots don't set well in your wet spring weather. Isn't that your understanding?

Yes,I think so fruitnut.Plus there are chances for Spring frosts.
Maybe the placement of the tree may help.It is under the canopy of some Douglas Fir that are about 150 tall,but still gets good light exposure. Brady
