Better than Goldrush in March

As much as Goldrush is a world class keeper, the last couple seasons the ones I grow just taste like Golden Delicious without the bouquet by March. Ones I was taking out of storage in January still had some acidic zing but Pink Lady and even Fuji (even without acid) have more character now. This is the first season I've tasted my ladies this late so I can't know they will always be this good in March.
