So my roommate decided to order a peach tree through burpee and its arrived. I've gone online and read a few things and watched a few videos but no one clearly states how to care for or whats the proper planting method. So I was curious if anyone was willing to share a few tips with me on how to care for this tree since my roommate is clueless and has assigned me the task of caring for it,lol. It's a Gloria Peach Tree. I live in fayetteville, nc or Zone 8 if it's easier.

RE: Peach Tree Gloria

For starters, is it bare root or is it in a container?

Planting instructions will vary a lot, I don't think there is a definitive answer, but typical proscriptions are likely to say stuff like plant a $20 tree in a $100 hole - in other words, the planting part is important.

RE: Peach Tree Gloria

It's bare roots, they were inside a bag with saw dust chips and allt he instructions said was to soak for 4 hours and then dig a hole 3 ft wide and 18 inches deep which i did and planted but no other instructions besides use a pesticide once a month and water once a week.
