Hey all. I have a Santa Rosa Plum here in Cleveland, OH. It's got buds all over it and I anticipate that it will flower sometime this week!!!!!!!!! Isn't that pretty early? I thought they don't start blooming until like mid to late April? Luckily the warmth is anticipated to stay and not change to cold weather.

In any event, there's not much I can do about a late frost. What should I be spraying with? It's never had plums so far yet and I'm guessing the main thing I'd need to worry about is plum circulio.

Don't spray for curculio now, not until petal fall. Lots of people here use Spectracide "Once and Done" Triazicide.
