| Has anyone gotten a decent crop from blackberry canes that started the year with one or more galls that, presumably, were an indication of the presence of flat-headed cane borer larvae? I'm trying to decide whether to be proactive and remove the canes on my Shawnee blackberry and lose the entire crop or whether to wait and see what happens. |

| I've never been able to get rid of them by cutting out the canes, so I don't scout for it anymore. As I'm pruning canes, I do cut the infected canes out if I notice them, simply because I know there's a worm in there, but overall I pretty much live with them. |
