For those of you that have Satin Plumcot, what are you using for a pollinator? Mine are wide open with the peaches and nectarines but the rest of the plums aren't even close to being open. Thanks, Chad

Chad, my plums are all open now and my Spring Satin is still open as well. So maybe you are a week or so behind me and your plums will open before the Spring Satin is done blooming. It sets very well (if pollinated) so if you get no set it means you need to look into the pollination issue more. Spring Satin was the first thing opening in my whole orchard this year, it beat all the pluots, apricots, etc. Scott

Thanks Scott, It is the 1st potential set for that tree. I guess the frost scare last night has me wacky. I'll wait and see what happens. I have a spare hole dug and looking for an excuse to order yet another tree after swearing for the 2nd year in a row that I'm done planting. (It's always just ONE more...) Chad
