I have flower buds on my 4/5 Tennessee pear trees. Not sure what will become, but after 2 years of babying since bare root I didn't expect blossoms yet! They're all on OHF333 and have had their branches trained down. I hear it's an excellent variety and wait to compare it with Ayers. HMAN check your mail saturday/monday.

I check my mail every day. Where do you get your varieties? Never heard of the Tennessee pear.
|
I got it from Raintree a couple back. It comes from the same program as ayers, dabney.

Pretty tough tree as I recall them being shipped with 5 Ubileens. The ubileens had these nasty black patches on the trunk and none made it past 2 months. pseudomonas, I suspect from being in cold wet storage and then transit from the west coast.
