I recently bought a Milwaukee digital refractometer to test the brix of unfiltered maple syrup. I have not been impressed with the accuracy so far. From discussions with the manufacturer, it seems that the sediment in the unfiltered syrup may interfere with accuracy.

For you folks testing your fruit with digital refractometers, how is the accuracy? Milwaukee? Do you get consistent results from the same sample? I may keep my meter if I can use it for fruit. Thanks.
