Olives! Is this the right part of the forum?

Hi, as in the title... I need advice on my olive trees.
Is this the right section? If not, please advise.
Basically the question is, one tree I recently purchased from someone as a lot of moss/lichen on the "trunk" but the grower assured me that was fine.
Is it fine?
What do you guys think?
