Pollination of Plum and Pluot

Hi,

I have one Wickson (Japanese) plum and one Flavor Supreme pluot.

They are in their third year. Wickson is said to be self fruitful and Flavor Supreme pluot can be pollinated by Japanese plum.

So far I have found only one fruit set on the pluot tree. Most of the blooms seem to have set tiny fruits but dropped not long after the petals dropped. The same is happening on Wickson right now. Are the tiny fruits (size of pencil tip) considered pollinated and the fruit drop is normal?
