I discovered this ugly thing on one of my rabbit eye blueberry tree. It is a tree not a bush. If it is a wanker I know there is no spray to cure it. What can I do. Can it infect the other trees.

That's probably from a physical injury not a disease canker. Is so it will not infect anything else.

Looks exactly like what my ducks use to do to the canes before I had to fence them out of the blueberry beds. I agree with Fruitnut that it looks to be a mechanical injury.

I am sure the magistrate will let you off. Mitigating circumstances - posting at the crack of dawn in emotional distress over your blueberry. Also service to the community - providing a smile this side of the water. Sorry - slightly smutty sense of humour ;-)

Hope your blueberry lives.

foolishpleasure,

I guess we all need a little humor right now, and you have elected yourself, admittedly accidentally, to be the brunt of:-)
