| I am searching for a source of Klondike Strawberry Plants. Years ago, this was the main berry grown in Ponchatoula. The old timers still talk about the wonderful flavor. |

| Klondike was the top berry in the south, well most of the country back in the day. We started sacrificing quality for portability, though I am sure you already knew that. My granfather in law was raised on a strawberry farm and said they were by far the best. I do believe some are in Mexico and am trying to get my hands on them. He said they withstood the heat and spread out runners for propagation freely. I am looking online for him, me, and probably 20 other people so if you find some let me know. |
