Hi, have a quick question. Is there any way of getting rid of the suckers (happen every spring, throughout the summer!) around all three of my 'Candied Apple' crabapple trees? They help to pollinate my early 'Pristine' apple. I've tried everything but 'Round Up!

Please no rund up,..it'll will the tree. It's normal for suckers around the trunk, especially when young, keep cutting them off.

Konrad, thanks! I would never spray Round Up on the suckers. The trees are ten years old! Mrs. G
