Girdled Crabapple help

Hi,
After the snow melted away I found this :(
I cant believe I forgot to wrap it, It was the only one I forgot and of course this happens.
Its girdled all the way around but Im attempting to be optimistic and ask for any help with this. Maybe a graft union? Would it be worth the effort? I do love this weeping crabapple.
