| My red delicious apple tree flowers every year and starts to set fruit. The fruit never gets bigger than pea size. Any ideas? Thank you. |

| Or did the top die or was damaged, then the root stock came up which is a crab? |

| The tree blooms early so there aren't as many bees around. I'm hoping pollination is the problem or else I read up on grafting. Thanks for the answers. |

| Red Delicious needs another variety planted nearby to pollinate the blossoms. |
