M111 or Bud 118?

I live outside of Missoula, MT and would like to start a small orchard on my property. We have the room, so I'm leaning towards semi-dwarf trees, although I'd consider doing summer pruning to standard trees as well. I don't know much about rootstocks for apples (just started looking into this), but it seems like the most commonly available semi-dwarf is M 111. I've also seen Bud 118, and Antanovka, although these are less available.

From what reading I have done, M 118 sounds like starts setting fruit sooner and has better cold tolerance than M 111. I was hoping to get some feedback from those who know more about whether this is true or not. Considering how common M 111 is, it would be nice to have that wider selection of options, but I'd be willing to spend more time looking if Bud 118 is superior.

Our soil has clay, but overall we have nice, deep topsoil (we're in a valley bottom next to a creek) if that makes a difference. We do get some strong winds as well.
