Is it ok to temporarily grow raspberry canes in container?

Hi.... so my bare root raspberry cane's were delivered last week so this weekend I planted some but the others are going in an area which is not quite ready yet.

Is it ok to plant the bare root canes in a container till the area is ready? I planted it in potting soil, little bit of chopped fall leaves, and compost (50/50 potting soil and compost). This particular raspbery plant is jewel raspberries.

Raspberries are pretty hardy they should be just fine. Just don't overwater them :)
