This as Arctic Jay, one year in ground. 3 of the 12 branches have these black dead tips. I'm assuming cutting them off is fine. Any idea what this could be?

There could be many causes but I'd just cut that off and the tree will likely be fine. I prune off stuff like that every year without issues.

It could be peach twig borer, brown rot twig blight, bacterial canker, or ???

I cut an inch below the dead wood and tossed it. I should have cut the dead wood open just to see...oh well oh well
