Montmorency cherry tree

We planted a montmorency cherry tree about a month ago and have noticed that some of the leaves are drying. It is sprouting new leaves and has some cherries that have started to come out but worried about the leaves drying. This is my first cherry tree so not sure if it's adapting to the dirt or what. We do get pretty hot in my area....summers are about 95-105. Watering has been consistent and soil is maintained pretty moist. Am I watering too much? What could be causing the leaves to dry? Please help don't want for it to dry on me!!

You could be watering too much depending on soil drainage. It also may make some difference if it were potted or bare root. I find bare root easier to establish. One month after planting it's hard to tell what's going on. It could be normal adjustment to a change in conditions. Leaves dieing could be too wet, salt, or another root issue.
