Thanks Axel. The post by axel about apple keeping quality was interesting. His experiment indicated that pink lady is good keeper. My question is pink lady and cripps pink the same apple? I bought a few of what was listed as cripps pink today and they were in very good condition and were delicious. Thanks in advance for your advice.

Yes, they are the same. Also Cripps Red is the same as Sundowner. Grant

So does Sundowner/CrR taste like Pink Lady/CrP? It's listed as a "sister plant" to pink lady. If you've had both and you like pink lady, what did you think of Sundowner? Btw, I LOVE pink ladies -- by far the best apple I've tasted. I've never had a spintzenberg apple though.
