| Hi,
Does anyone know what this tree disease is? Little balls filled with a sticky sap form all over the tree limbs. Ants love it and infest the tree. It is slowly killing my tree which is not leafing out as much as it should.
Thanks for any help you can give. |

| It's scale, possibly the European Fruit Lecanium. That's what I have here in west Texas. Mine is pretty easily killed by dormant oil and insecticides like malathion. But it comes back or I never kill 100%. I mush all I can by hand when there is only a little. Then spray. |
