I'm in Raleigh NC (zone 7b) and mine came through multiple 10 degree nights. The main stems did crack and split in a few places but the vines recovered and are now blooming.

My figs (just west of trianglejohn) are just now starting to grow from the base. I saw no sign of that a week or two ago, so your figs might still be fine from the roots, at least.

My fuzzies are all growing now. It didn't get as cold here, only about 3F. It sounds like yours took some damage. Hopefully they will wake up.

Some of my poms are still very green but no sprouting yet; others are starting to sprout now. Figs are all dead to ground level and some are starting to sprout now. They should all come back based on past experience.

I am in Northern VA (we got down to 3 degrees) and my fuzzies are all growing (See photo). They are in their second year. One female started growing then the main trunk died about half way up, but new growth appears strong. I will probably have to grow a new trunk. I thought my brown turkey and celeste figs had died, but now they are sprouting from the soil. My hardy kiwis are also producing blooms that have not opened yet.

My figs did weird things - some branches died back to the ground while one or two only died back to around 4 feet. Some have only now started sprouting leaves while other (branches) have good sized fruit. Black Mission completely died back except for one small branch. Kadota completely died back but is sprouting at soil level. Celeste only lost the tips of its longest branches, it has leafed out and has fruit on most branches. Texas Everbearing lost most of its branches but has sprouted from the base and every other bush has at least one branch that survived and has fruit.

I'm trying to convince myself that I see some bud swell on the kiwis, and I think I actually do, but it's very slooooow going.

My figs are acting strange too. The only one that I see any new growth (and it's from the ground) is the Peter's Honey Fig which is my least hardy fig. My Chicago Hardy and Celeste haven't pushed out any new growth yet.
