Tree planted too deep...

Hello again!
I've planted 4 mayhaws on my property in mid march. They are all doing great, but after reading up a bit on planting trees, I'm afraid they might be a little deep. The graft line is above soil level, but it's constantly wet here where I live and I think one or two might have settled a little deeper than when I planted. They're about a foot and a half tall and have leafed out nicely. Would it be a total shock if I were to dig it up and put soil in to raise it up, also to remove any soil from around the trunk, to leave that portion bare? I'd like for them to live past 4 or 5 years...
