Nice selection of useful trees, have to do some browsing....

I already ordered some bare root persimmon, pawpaw and pecans somewhere else a few months ago, put them in the ground while still dormant early March.

There is no sign of growth yet, my other trees are all in leaves by now, does anybody know if its normal for bareroot tree seedling to be later than established trees ?

(I hit one by accident with the weedeater and the cut was green, so looks like the life is still in there)

JHG passed away within the last couple of years; not sure that the family is still operating the nursery; I'm thinking not - but the website is still up, so...maybe.

Bareroot pecans & persimmons take a while to get going. Minimal experience (and bad,at that) with bareroot pawpaw seedlings, so can't offer much in that arena.
