Last spring i planted two dwarf plum trees from arbor day foundation in very large pots. They did very well last year and i pruned them back at the end of fall. This spring they produced lovely flowers for me but absolutely no leaves have come in yet. Its been about a month since the flowers began and now they are fading back and yet there is still no green growth at all. I am still new at growing plants and i am way out of my league when it comes to knowing what to do for these guys. Do i need to add more soil or organic matter? Am i watering too much or too little? Have they simply outgrown their pots already? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
