can P. cerasifera pollinate other plums?

Since P. cerasifera (to my understanding) has been used as one of the parents of many of the Asian/hybrid plums, & also as a rootstock for plums, can, say, a "Purple leaved plum" such as the Thundercloud cultivar of P. cerasifera pollinate any of the Japanese/Asian/hybrid plums reliably?

I have an eight month old seedling that originated from a cross between a Mariposa plum, seed parent, x a Krauter vesuvious plum, pollen parent. The seedling has red leaves.
