Opinion on Macfree apple tree?

Just wanted to see if there is anyone out there who has grown Macfree apple tree's. How difficult was it growing the tree (i.e. any disease issues or other problems) and how was the flavour of the apple? I ask because I'm about to plant some on my property and needed some feedback.
