I ordered some seeds from ebay they were stratified and sent in a plastic bag so they don’t dried out.And there was a little bit moisture in the bag. Some seeds cracked on one side and some on both is that a good sign or a bad one?

Qdoom, Pawpaw may takes months for it to sprout. You should plant the seeds now under a inch of soil. The root usually goes pretty deep before the tip breaks the soil. Don't forget to cover them with a shade cloth. Good luck. Tony

I know that they take a long time to germinate but I am worried about the cracks on the seeds, because I don’t know if that is good or bad.

Qdoom, You are committed my friend. You got the seeds, just plant it and find out if it grows. Tony

I do have pawpaws but got them as young trees. Still, I've grown many other plants from seeds and often when the seed is a hard one one is told to either crack it a little or sand it with sandpaper a bit in order to assist the seedling inside to break free and begin to grow. I don't know if that is what seller was doing for you, but it is a possibility. Like Tony said, all you can do is plant it and wait. Pam in cinti
