Persimmon Rootstock Suggestions

I'm planning on adding an Asian Persimmon to my little orchard in the next year or so. I think I want 'Saijo', but I'm uncertain what rootstock to get it grafted on.

I don't think Kaki rootstock will make it here, and I'm uncertain about the performance of Lotus. Edible Landscaping sells Saijo on native persimmon, which is what I'm leaning towards. Does anyone have advice/experience?

I'm located in zone 6b, SE Pennsylvania.

Amper,

Bass (Tree of Joy) had many Kakis on native persimmon rootstocks. He also live in zone 6B, PA. You can google his website and see all his trees that survived in PA.

Saijo works great on native D.virginiana understock. Have one on D.v. that's been in the ground here for nearly 10 years.
Mine came through the winter here in KY just fine - with a little dieback on on some smaller twigs.
