What's going on with this Blueberry plant?

I poured some vinegar on it to lower the pH of the soil a few days ago. Now I'm not sure if the leaves are turning color because of fall - I live in Brazil and here is fall now - or if it was caused by the vinegar.

Could this be a sign that the soil became too acidic? Or is it just the changing of the season?

The variety of this plant is Climax.

You may have damaged it with the vinegar. Did you pour undiluted vinegar into the soil? If so that's not the best approach. It's better to lower the pH of your water to about 4.5 and apply it that way at each watering.

Undiluted vinegar is a herbicide. But I've burned several plants with fertilizer and never killed one. They looked about like yours. So it will probably recover.

In the past I have used 5% white vinegar on our blueberry shrubs, to lower the pH of the soil. Using our local tap water, supplied by the City of Madison, which has pH = 7.6(alkaline), it took 12 fluid ounces of 5% white vinegar per 4 gallons of tap water to achieve pH = 5.
