Belle of Georgia Peach and red holed leaves

So we just planted a Belle of Georgia Peach at our home in North Texas. I did as the instructions said, made a hole 3x the container and only to the top of the container. I added potting soil under and around the tree root ball.

Now the root ball was not "wrapped" in roots, there was a good 2" of soil before I could feel any roots, but I still tried to break it up some so the roots could begin to move a little.

I even soaked the hole with water before and after planting. Luckily the soils that surround the tree aren't total clay but more of a sand/clay mix.

Anyways, 3 days later all of the leaves are starting to V up and have developed little holes that are red. The leaves have gone from nice and green to a yellowy green.

What did I do wrong? Can I fix this? Help please...

PS I planted a Fuji apple 10' away, within minutes of the peach and I've got no issues with that tree at all.

Thanks guys for the advice I could sure use it. I'm a first time tree planter.

Tree size was 6' tall at planting and the bucket is 2 Gal size.
