The best thing to do is probably to read the label before you buy it. Just peel the label back right there in the store and make sure it is listed for your fruit trees.

It's the Once and Done

It's ALL "Once and Done". One is Gamma-Cyhalothrin, the others are Lamda-Cyhalothrin. The ones that are Lamda are not for fruit trees.

Read the freakin label.

Well, I don't remember what I bought the last couple of years, but it was labeled for various fruit and some vegetable crops IIRC, and it was freakin' amazing stuff, IMHO. I was never able to grow clean, bug free quinces before no matter what I used. They were perfect last fall. As was almost everything else. A few minor worms in a couple of peaches on the far side of the trees where I had trouble reaching them with spray -- but, once you've got 20 bushels or whatever, who cares about the last bushel?

People who use Triazicide for the CM - at what stage do you spray?

For me, I just spray it once or twice between the time the fruit is set and when it gets to be a little bigger than a dime, so I can bag it. -Glenn

I spray from petal fall on a 14 (I think that's the respray limit)-21 day schedule depending on when I see PC damage coming back. Using up the spray limits puts me into the first and worst wave of CM, after that malathion seems to work.
