Does anyone know from experience a peach or nectarine variety/cultivar that will produce sweet tasty fruit in a mild summer climate? I live in the San Fran. mid-peninsula, where summer high temps are typically in the mid-70s to around 80. I have already grown O'Henry, which produced sweet tasty peaches when a heat wave happened to coincide with the fruit ripening in August, but when the weather was mild, the fruits were bland. I also grew Snow Beauty, which was also hit or miss in terms of being sweet. Both died for unknown reasons. Thanks.
