Will my Pear tree ever produce again?

About 4 or 5 years ago I decided to cut down an old pear tree that was mostly dead and in the way of a new garden plot. Since I didn't dig up the trunk it came right back with four trunks and is now 15ft tall.

It's still producing blossoms but they aren't setting fruit. BTW, a companion pear tree looks as bad as this one used to, but is still producing. I'll probably trim it heavily after this season.

So, do you think this new/old tree will ever set fruit again? It's shading too much of the garden again, but I'm inclined to let it live since it wants to so badly, provided it produces again some day.
