Lemon Tree Disease??

Please see pic below

I am not sure what is causing this to my lemon tree. these 2 lemons were picked from the tree jus yesterday. What is this brown spotting and what is the best way to get rid of it, I see this brown spotting on some of the lemons that are still green. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

That might not be disease, citrus can split if it gets too much/not enough water as well as other environmental reasons.

I believe you have what is commonly called "brown rot". It is caused by the Phytophthora fungus. it can only be prevented, not cured. A preventative spray of Bordeaux mixture in October or November concentrating on the foliage within four feet of the ground and also spraying the ground.. You may have to repeat in January or February if you have a lot of rain. Al
