Not sure what all is going on but they are very lacking in vigor and leaves. One thing is they appear to be quite nitrogen deficient. Could also be suffering from wet soil. Have you had a lot of rain? How well does your soil drain?

I would echo Fruitnut's suspicion. Does the soil drain well? The trees seem to lack vigor, which can be a result of poor water drainage. The other issue looks like a raging case of bacterial spot. A case that bad will generally cause defoliation.

What varieties did you plant? Some are more resistant than others, but even somewhat resistant varieties can be overcome by bacterial spot if the inoculum is too high.

the only thing i can think is rain. in alabama we have gotten a lot of rain this spring. There is no standing water and all my trees are planted on a slight slope.

I think the varities are June Gold and FloridaKing. What are the resistant varieties? I also have Contender, Reliance, Suwanee and Redhaven.

Is there anything I can do the help with the bacteria spot.
