i live in central new jersey, and this august, i will be moving to southern texas. i bought a grape plant and a lemon plant from home depot, and i was wondering if i need to prepare either plant for this move? will texas heat be too stressful for them? should i keep them indoors the first summer? ill also mention that i very nearly killed off the grape when i left him outside after i thought the frost had passed, but woke up to snow >.< thank you for any advice!

You might want to check with the Texas agriculture department about importing citrus into the state. Both will adapt to the climate if kept in the shade for a while, gradually adding more sun. Al
