My neighbors on 3 out of 4 sides have mature bradford pear trees. I've never seen this before but this year they are nearly black with what appears to be fireblight. And this is most definitely my worst year, since I started my orchard in 2007. I've pruned out so much fireblight and it has taken a serious toll on my attitude and my trees. I can't help but think there is some correlation btw the bradford pears and my pomme trees. Any thoughts in agreement or otherwise?
