Does Pink Lady apple require a pollinator?

I purchased a Pink Lady apple tree this March and I was told I did not have to worry about a pollinator for this apple. I have, however, read that it does indeed require another apple tree to pollinate it and one suggestion was to plant a Fuji apple along with my Pink Lady. I do not want to add more fruit trees in my yard, but if it is necessary for my PL to bear fruit, I will buy a Fuji. Any comments on this?
