Best time to plant fruit trees in Northern Ohio

Hello,

I live in Northern Ohio (zone 5) and am interested in planting some fruit trees: cherries, plums and apples.

When is the best time to plant those?

Also, can you get the dwarf variety for all those?

Thanks

There are dwarf trees of all three. But only dwarf apple and cherry are now widely available. Plums are pretty easy to keep small by summer pruning.

In your climate I'd plant bare root trees as early in spring as the soil can be worked.
